# Data Ownership & Exit | AGS 4.1 & Excel | G&

> Your geotechnical data stays yours. Export approved records in AGS 4.1 and Excel, retrieve the full estate on request, and leave G& without lock-in or exit fees.

## Export formats

### AGS 4.1 — A governed submission package

Export approved geotechnical records as an AGS 4.1 package, with the dictionary version and validation status recorded alongside the deliverable.

Includes: Boreholes · samples · tests · groundwater · laboratory results · validation outcome

### XLSX — A working data extract

Export the same approved record set to Excel for review, analysis, client handover or migration into another system.

Includes: Structured worksheets · field identifiers · depths · units · results · approval state

## Retrieval

### 01 — Request or start an export

A customer administrator can start an export from the platform. If your deployment requires assisted retrieval, send the request through your nominated customer contact or G& support channel.

### 02 — Confirm the authorised requester

G& verifies the requester against the customer estate and confirms the projects, areas and date range in scope before preparing the package.

### 03 — Receive the package securely

The completed AGS 4.1 and Excel files are delivered through the agreed secure channel. The export record states what was included, when it was produced and which validation state it represents.

### 04 — Close out on your terms

On termination, G& supports a final export, confirms receipt with the authorised customer contact, and deletes the customer estate on the schedule agreed in the contract.

## Commitments

- **Your data** — You retain ownership of the records, files and project information you place in G&.

- **No exit fee** — There is no separate charge for a standard data export or for retrieving your estate on request.
- **No forced renewal** — You can retrieve your data before a contract ends and take it with you if your plans change.
